(Sheet metal) roll forming machines from PoVoTec
Technology for efficient sheet metal forming
PoVoTec develops and manufactures roll forming machines for industrial applications that require precise forming, high repeat accuracy and economical processes. As a manufacturer of roll forming machines, we rely on robust, modular systems that remain consistently efficient even when requirements change. The advantages of the process are particularly evident in medium to large quantities – short cycle times, low tool wear and reproducible quality.
PS400 profiling machine with 32-slot interchangeable cassettes

Our PS400 roll forming machine sets new standards in roll forming technology. Thanks to its innovative 32-slot change cassette system, it enables tools to be changed particularly quickly, thus minimizing downtimes. This ensures maximum efficiency and productivity. Our systems are specially designed for high loads and offer a robust construction that guarantees durability and precision.
Customized solutions - development and production

Are you looking for a roll forming machine that is exactly right for your product?
We develop and manufacture customized solutions for your application – from the initial design to the ready-to-operate system.

Technical equipment

With the larger PS400 cassette, material widths of up to 600 mm and sheet thicknesses of up to 4 mm are possible – depending on the version selected. The cassette can be changed in just two crane movements, regardless of the number of stations. This ensures short changeover times and maximum availability.

Roll forming machine for sheet metal: materials, geometries and applications
PoVoTec roll forming machines are designed for processing sheets of different metal grades. In addition to classic mild steel, high-strength steels, aluminum, stainless steel and coated sheets can also be profiled. Suitable cassette systems are available for very thin strips from 0.07 mm up to solid 4 mm thick steel strips. Depending on the profile requirements, you can choose between standard, extra-wide or reinforced cassettes. Our machines cover a wide range of cross-sectional shapes – from open C or U profiles to closed hollow profiles. Typical applications include façade elements, shelf rails, vehicle profiles or cable trays. Each profile geometry is prepared to customer specifications in our own tool shop and made to measure.
Implementation, modernization and support from a single source
As a manufacturer, we support our customers from the initial concept to the turnkey sheet metal forming machine. Our services range from feasibility studies and conception, through design and production, to commissioning and on-site training. Even after delivery, we are available for maintenance, spare parts or adjustments. Existing machines – including third-party systems – can be modernized with our cassette systems or control components. This allows older lines to be brought up to date economically without the need for a complete new investment.
For customers with changing products or small series, we also offer combined system solutions in which existing tool sets can continue to be used.

Frequently asked questions about our roll forming machines
What is the difference between a roll forming machine and a complete roll forming system?
A roll forming machine represents the central forming process – the continuous forming of sheet metal via rolling stations. A roll forming machine, on the other hand, includes additional processing steps such as punching or cutting, automation technology, control systems and material handling. PoVoTec develops both individual machines and complete lines – depending on requirements.
Which materials can be processed with a roll forming machine?
Our machines are designed for a wide range of metals, including steel, stainless steel, aluminium and coated or galvanized sheet metal. Depending on the cassette type, material thicknesses of 0.07 mm to 4 mm and widths of up to 600 mm can be processed. This means that a wide variety of profiles can be produced – from delicate guide elements to load-bearing components.
How quickly can a roll forming machine be converted?
With the PoVoTec cassette system, a complete tool change takes just two crane movements – regardless of the number of stations. Set-up processes can also be prepared on external tables. This reduces downtime to a minimum and even smaller batch sizes can be produced economically.
